Get help enrolling your child in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 12th grade for the 2026–2027 school year. Twin Rivers staff are available during monthly enrollment support sessions to assist families with Aeries Online Enrollment, school information, community resources, and other support services.

If applicable, please also bring:
  • Court order or restraining order documents
  • Transcripts or report cards for students entering grades 9–12
  • A Section 504 Plan or Individualized Education Program (IEP)

Parent Cafe
 
Twin Rivers families are invited to participate in the 2026-27 Parent Café Series. Parent Cafés provide a welcoming space for parents and caregivers to connect, share experiences, learn from one another and celebrate their family strengths. Families may attend one session or participate in the entire series.

Student Wellness: Supporting Your Child Through Fall & Winter
 
Join us for an upcoming Parent University workshop focused on helping families support their child’s well-being during the fall and winter months.
 
Seasonal changes can affect a child’s mood, behavior, and motivation. Families will learn about signs to watch for, practical coping skills to share with their child, and strategies they can use at home to support their child’s well-being. Two community programs will also share information about mentorship and counseling services available to students and families.

Day of the Dead 2026
 
Twin Rivers Unified School District invites students, families, staff, and community members to come together for our 5th Annual Día de Muertos Celebration. Join us as we honor and remember loved ones who have passed through culture, art, music, family activities, and community connection.

Community Altar Workshop — October 21
 
Wednesday, October 21, 2026 | 4–6 p.m.

Help us create a meaningful community altar in preparation for our Día de Muertos celebration. Families are invited to bring photos, flowers, or small meaningful items to place on the community altar in honor and remembrance of loved ones. Families can also enjoy Día de Muertos activities and view artwork created by students in the After-School Program.
 
5th Annual Día de Muertos Celebration — Thursday, October 29, 2026
 
Altar Blessing & Procession | 4:30–4:45 p.m.
The evening begins at the Las Palmas Elementary School – East Campus Gym with a special Altar Blessing. Following the blessing, families are invited to join a Danza Azteca-led procession from Las Palmas to Martin Luther King Jr. Technology Academy.
 
Main Celebration | 5–7 p.m.

Continue the celebration with student performances, music, arts and crafts, food, community resources, and more. All students, families, staff, and community members are welcome.
