When a student in grade two through eight has been attending an accredited public or private school within or out of the STATE, he/she will be admitted to school and placed in the grade of enrollment in the district of former attendance. Students who were previously enrolled in a non-accredited school will be placed age-appropriately.

 

Do NOT move students from TK to KDG or start students in KDG that are TK age until their 5th Birthdate.  Also moving students down a grade during the year or starting students in a grade lower (Kdg instead of 1st due to never attending Kdg) Must have Retention Docs filled out.  Notate both scenarios in Interventions.
