Program description: Creator X Camp is an exciting, hands-on creative experience for incoming 7th–9th grade students interested in animation, gaming, comics, and film. Students will have the unique opportunity to work directly with industry professionals, learn new artistic skills, collaborate with peers, and gain inspiration from experts who have contributed to major animated games and entertainment projects. This camp provides a supportive environment for students to explore their creativity, develop new talents, and bring their ideas to life. 

Grades: Incoming 7th–9th Grade

Location: Rio Linda Prep (tentative)

Dates: June 15–18, 2026  

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Transportation: Limited school-to-school

Freedom School Summer School Banner

Program description: The Freedom Schools® Summer Program, operated by the Roberts Family Development Center in partnership with the Twin Rivers Unified School District and the Children’s Defense Fund, is a six-week, literacy-focused summer experience designed to prevent learning loss and inspire a love of reading. Through engaging books, small-group instruction, leadership development, social-emotional learning, and family involvement, students build academic skills, confidence, and a strong sense of identity while preparing for success in the school year ahead
Grades: TK-12th 

Location: Rio Tierra JHS (tentative)

Dates: June 15 - July 24th, 2026  (Monday - Thursday, Fieldtrips on Fridays)

Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Transportation: Limited school-to-school

Hypu Summer program Banner

Program description: The Hmong Enrichment Summer Camp (HESC), operated by Hmong Youth & Parents United in partnership with Twin Rivers Unified School District, is a six-week summer program serving TK–12 students. The program strengthens literacy, language development, and cultural identity through engaging academics, enrichment, and social-emotional learning in a safe, affirming environment.
Grades: TK-12th 

Location: Woodlake (tentative)

Dates: June 15 - July 30th, 2026  (Monday - Thursday)

Hours: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
