The Contract Services and Risk Management Department is integral to upholding safety protocols, regulatory compliance, insurance risk management, claims processing, and loss prevention across the District. Our commitment is to protect the safety and health of students, staff, and community members while employing cost-effective measures to maximize savings for the District.

In addition to these responsibilities, our department oversees public works bids and contracts for all District sites, adhering to California Public Contract Code. We also administer the District’s E-Rate funding program, securing significant Federal funding annually to support internet services and infrastructure. Through Request for Proposals (RFPs) and other public solicitations, we support programs and services that align with the District’s mission.

Our broad purview includes managing Services Agreements, consulting contracts, technology licensing, curriculum procurement, interagency MOUs, leases, Special Education agreements, Architect and other professional service agreements, and university affiliation and field training agreements. Each of these elements contributes to a secure, compliant, and financially responsible environment that benefits our students, employees, and the community at large.
