  • Preparing for both college and career is expected at Rio Linda High, which offers Advanced Placement (AP) and Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways

  • Over 45 of our seniors earned the Seal of Biliteracy for demonstrating literacy in two or more languages
  • 30% of our students are enrolled in at least one Advanced Placement (AP) course
  • All 10-12 grade students are offered the opportunity to take the necessary AP tests free of charge
  • All 9-11 grade students are offered the opportunity to take the PSAT free of charge
  • Our A-G completion rate ranks among the district's best at nearly 63% completion rate by our seniors
 

Notable Accomplishments

Rio Linda offers boys and girls comprehensive athletic programs. Our teams are highly competitive and have won league championships in football, girls basketball, boys volleyball, and girls flag football.

  • Advanced Placement/College Prep Courses: 18 AP courses, Honors, college prep, higher-level Math, Science, English, Social Science, World Language, and Studio Art
  • 23 American River College (ARC) courses
  • Over 17% of 9th graders completed a Dual Enrollment course during the 2025-2026 school year
