Ridgepoint TK-8 is a high-achieving school focusing on Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for academics, family engagement, and social and emotional learning. Our active PTA provides a variety of activities such as a family picnic, school carnival, Santa's Breakfast, and a Jog-A-Thon. The staff is highly qualified and is committed to academic achievement. You are welcome to come by any time for a tour of the campus and to meet our administrators.
Excellence in Education
At Ridgepoint, our teachers meet regularly in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to analyze student data and to plan effective instruction with student interventions. Teachers plan lessons using units aligned with Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and implement effective teaching strategies. Ridgepoint teachers use research-based educational technology to meet the needs of every student. Professional development opportunities for teachers and grade-level articulation meetings enhance the professional capacity of the Ridgepoint staff in support of every student on campus.
Notable Accomplishments
Ridgepoint had increased achievement levels on the District benchmark test, increased CAASPP state testing scores in Math and English, and decreased suspension rates compared to the previous year. Ridgepoint is one of the highest-achieving schools in the Twin Rivers Unified School District.
Ridgepoint School has been honored at the state level for successfully implementing a schoolwide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework during the 2025-2026 school year. Ridgepoint received the Platinum Award from the California PBIS Coalition. Ridgepoint was also named to the Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll in 2024.
Students at Ridgepoint are a caring and generous group. Each year, Ridgepoint raises hundreds of dollars through the Pennies for Patients program—a penny drive that supports leukemia and lymphoma research. Ridgepoint students also participate in the annual KCRA Kids Can food drive and collect food items for families in need.

All 5th graders will participate in a visual arts program with the 2.4 dance performance company. 5th and 6th grade students have an opportunity to join our Ridgepoint band. Additionally, our yearly talent show provides an opportunity for students to display their talents to classmates and parents.
Ridgepoint 7th and 8th grade students have the opportunity to participate in the elective classes such as yearbook/leadership, 21st century learning, band, or being a teacher’s assistant. They can participate in after school sports and are given many leadership opportunities.
