School Fact Sheet

To inspire each student to extraordinary achievement every day.

School Highlights

Creative Connections Arts Academy (CCAA) is a nurturing community where the next generation of thinkers and innovators is cultivated. Students are encouraged to explore and think differently in a close-knit environment at our inviting, personalized campus setting. Our aim at CCAA is to empower students to harness their creativity and contribute meaningfully to their community and beyond. Students are taught to be self-motivated and lifelong learners through integrated arts and project-based learning. CCAA has a curriculum that emphasizes positive character traits and supports the development of the “whole child” academically, socially and emotionally.

Excellence in Eduacation

Students at CCAA have a wide variety of opportunities to learn in an integrated learning environment where all art forms and modalities of learning are part of daily instruction. In addition, the school offers sequential, standards-based art instruction to allow students to develop strong skills and pathways leading to college and career. Students have the opportunity to participate in several field trips and assemblies, including sixth grade science camp, the Mondavi Center, the Sacramento Theater Company, B Street Theatre performances, and college campus tours.

CCAA is an environment where students do more than learn by textbook. Students at CCAA learn to think and problem solve. The school offers more choices in educational opportunities and opportunities for parent involvement as part of CCAA’s core belief in civic engagement. In the workforce of the future, the most important skills will be collaboration and creativity. At CCAA, students are challenged to be thinkers, scholars, and work in a collaborative environment.
