School Highlights

Kohler School, in close partnership with families and the community, is a school where all TK-8 children learn in a rigorous, engaging, safe, educational environment in preparation for college, career, and life success. Our dedicated staff works hard to ensure that every student reaches his or her learning targets as described by the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). At Kohler, we value, respect, and engage with the diverse cultures represented within our school, striving to create a family-friendly environment that fosters mutual respect, trust, and care.

Excellence in Education

Students who attend Kohler Elementary School receive a comprehensive, coherent academic program with a strong emphasis on language arts and math. In language arts, we focus on early literacy, reading comprehension, academic vocabulary and writing across disciplines. Our math program focuses on problem-solving, mathematical fluency, and deep conceptual understanding using real-world problems.

Notable Accomplishments

Kohler TK-8 proudly celebrates several notable accomplishments during the 2025–2026 school year. Our school earned the District Benchmark Belt for achieving the largest growth in ELA and Math benchmark scores across the district in Trimester 2. Additionally, we saw a significant increase in our overall attendance rate and a decrease in chronic absenteeism, reflecting our strong school culture and commitment to student success.

Enrichment Programs

At Kohler TK-8, we offer a range of enrichment programs designed to support the growth and interests of all students. Our 7th and 8th grade students can explore specialized electives such as 3D Printing, where they learn design and engineering skills; Teacher Assistant, which offers leadership and mentoring opportunities; 21st Century Skills, focusing on communication, collaboration, and problem-solving; and Art, where creativity is nurtured through various mediums.

All students at Kohler have access to Visual and Performing Arts, participating in either Art or Music to develop their creative expression. Our after-school program, provided in partnership with The Center, offers additional academic and recreational enrichment. In addition, we offer after-school sports throughout the entire school year, giving all students the opportunity to participate in team-building, fitness, and fun outside the classroom.
