School Highlights

Dry Creek Elementary is a TK–6th grade elementary school located in Rio Linda, California, in the Twin Rivers Unified School District. We have a hard-working culture that encourages students to always give their best and never give up. Our mission is to promote an environment of high academic achievement, kindness, culture and strong community values.
 
The staff at Dry Creek takes pride in providing a nurturing and safe environment that facilitates academic achievement. Students will be immersed in a rigorous and challenging curriculum to prepare them to be college and career ready. We serve approximately 640 students representing 12 different languages.

Twin Rivers developed a Long-Range Master Plan that serves as a guide to prioritize investments in our facilities with a focus on the safety and standardization of our existing infrastructure for those facilities most in need. Aligned with the forward-thinking and fiscally responsible approach, Twin Rivers is prioritizing our facilities planning into four categories of: Must Do, Should Do, Would Like to Do, and Future.
 
Twin Rivers is investing more than $303 Million in ongoing facilities and maintenance projects using existing funding, on projects in progress or planning to commence during the 2023–24 fiscal year.

Bond Funded Projects
Twin Rivers Unified School District (TRUSD) is committed to ensuring our schools provide each student with optimal facilities to learn, grow, and become college and career ready. With an average building age of 57 years old, there are immediate health and safety improvements that must be addressed. In 2022, voters passed K, a bond measure to address health and safety facility improvements for elementary schools throughout the district. Below are some of the bond funded projects scheduled for Dry Creek Elementary School.
