School Fact Sheet

To inspire each student to extraordinary achievement every day.

School Highlights

Garden Valley Elementary is a caring community dedicated to creating an academically rigorous, culturally sensitive, and positive learning environment for all students. We strive to help students become goal-oriented, critical thinkers who are dedicated to achieving the highest level of integrity and academic success. The teaching staff is highly trained and qualified to provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of our students.

You will find instructional strategies that are research-based and targeted to the state standards, as well as tiered intervention systems to provide powerful support and acceleration to all students. Now more than ever, we also want to be a support to all our students, not only in academics but also regarding their social and emotional health. We work hard to ensure that our students not only excel academically but are given the tools to meet their own personal social and emotional needs. Our staff works tirelessly to make each child feel important, valued, and ready to face any challenges that lay ahead.

Excellence in Education

Garden Valley provides opportunities to enhance student learning, encourage leadership, and success in academics. Students have many opportunities to work on writing and math projects using a variety of media and technology. We provide high-quality, first-time instruction, and meaningful support to our students who require additional learning experiences. Each week, teachers collaborate to review data, reflect on instruction, and develop effective interventions tailored to student needs. Progress monitoring is an integral part of developing learning opportunities in which all students learn daily.
